About this event

December 2021 Virtual Chapter Meeting - St. Louis IIBA

Join us for a Virtual Chapter Meeting and Training Opportunity!

Training Topic: 'Scrum Planning - Yeah, It's A Thing' with Michelle Green

How many times have you entered a new scrum team and the Scrum Master wants you to start sprinting right away? Do you have long Sprint Zeros that don't provide value? That doesn't fit the Scrum flow or Agile Principles?

In this session, you'll learn what steps you can promote as a BA to help your team start their sprints off on the right foot through Pre-Planning. Pre-Planning is the invisible step in the Scrum Flow that I like to refer to as a "new team killer" if skipped. We'll review the Lean Product Canvas, Conceptual Story Mapping, Design and Goal-Oriented Roadmaps, and finally start to build that backlog. You'll leave this session with tools in your toolkit to lead your Scrum teams to success. Attendees will also receive tool recommendations and custom templates they can use to get their team's pre-planning today.

Zoom Chapter Meeting Room will open at 6:15 pm, meeting will begin at 6:30.

Link will be forwarded - See you then!
