Abstract - Networking 2020

When I think of networking I think of a room full of people mingling with glasses of wine in hand. I absolutely dread formal networking events. The idea of forced small talk with people I don’t know is just not in my DNA. Networking isn’t just the dreaded formal setting, informal networking takes place all day, every day and it isn’t always in person. Networking is not only for professional development but for personal as well.

We will explore optics regarding different types of networking, strategies and techniques for both formal and informal settings.

Join me as we prepare for the new year with a clear vision to make your network work for you during Networking 2020.

5:30-6:00 Regisration, Networking, Refreshments
6:00-7:00 Panel Discussion
7:00-7:30 Post Meeting Networking

Event Directions:

From Hwy 70: Take the MO-141 South/Maryland Heights Expressway, Exit 231A and then the first right onto Riverport Drive. Follow Riverport Drive as it curves through the office park.

From Maryland Heights Expressway/141-N: Go north to the 2nd Riverport Drive entrance (if you take the first, do not despair - you'll just be wandering around the office park for a little while longer).

IMPORTANT: Keep going past the Riverport Tower where we were originally scheduled. Look for a long, low, white building on the other side of the parking lot to the southwest of the tower. Enter at Door 2.
